are not solely focused on outcomes but also heavily weigh in enablers. That is, how the outcomes
were achieved, how the team worked together, as well as long term impact toward change.
Overview of the Qimonda Awards
Project
The Qimonda Project Award is presented to groups which, through systematic project
work, have turned in top class performances and achieved economic success for Qimonda.
Small Group Activity
The Qimonda Small Group Activity Award honors teams and small groups which have achieved outstanding results through systematic teamwork. The winning teams will have fulfilled their ambitious targets and achieved excellent results.
Environment, Safety & Health
With the Qimonda ESH Award we recognize the efforts of our employees to continuously improve our environment, occupational safety, and health protection.
iQ
The iQ Award recognizes the Qimonda employees who have submitted the three most successful iQ suggestions. In honoring the top three suggestions annually, the importance of the iQ program for Qimonda is emphasized.
IP Impact
Qimonda’s most successful inventors will be honored through the IP Impact Award, recognizing the inventors and their patents which had the greatest business impact for the company throughout the year.
Lean Six Sigma
The Qimonda Lean Six Sigma Award is presented to groups or individuals who succeed in maximizing the potential of a Lean Six Sigma Project, applying Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology, resulting in long-term economic benefit to Qimonda. Award winners will also have demonstrated all three Qimonda values – creative, passionate and fast – as well as affected long-term culture and mindset change around the Lean Six Sigma principles.
Qimonda Sites
The Qimonda Site Awards have been introduced to generate a sense of “healthy competition” between the sites, and to recognize outstanding local contributions. This award recognizes contribution to the overriding Qimonda strategic goals toward sustainable profitability and demonstration of the Qimonda values – creative, passionate and fast – throughout the site.
