Interview:
Angelika Janning joined the company in April 2005. Since October 2005, she has also been studying
electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich.
Q: What exactly do you do at Qimonda?
A: Under the tutelage of a manager, I’m involved in measurement setups for our new
wind-tunnel lab to improve the thermal characteristics of memory modules.
Q: What attracted you to the Qimonda undergraduate program?
A: Working at Qimonda is the perfect counterbalance for abstract and theoretical tutoring at
university. Hands-on experience also really motivates me in my studies. My colleagues trust in my
abilities, giving me the freedom to work in interesting, strategic projects and develop my own
ideas. It’s the ideal combination.
Q-Facts:
It’s very enriching to work with a global company that actively encourages cultural exchange. It’s
also very reassuring to feel your employer is really behind you – encouraging personal development
through job-specific and general training.”
